Dr Penny Kansiime is a Social Work lecturer in Sydney, Australia, and also an independent social researcher. She has more than 10 years of experience working in the field of social work and also as a social researcher. She is originally from Uganda, and prior to her move from Uganda, she worked as a Sexual and Gender-Based Violence prevention officer with Urban refugees, helping forced migrants (asylum seekers) who came to Uganda from various African countries like Burundi, DRC, Somalia, Rwanda and many more.
In this episode, she mainly addresses the Anti-Homosexuality Bill passed by the Ugandan National Assembly, yet to be signed in by President Museveni.
